We are thrilled to announce that the Surface Officers' Spouses Club membership numbers are strong and climbing! New members are signing up weekly and the success is due to you, our SOS membership, for helping the SOS Board spread the word about our organization. The surface force community is prominent in San Diego and while you are stationed here with your spouse, being a member of SOS is a wonderful way to take advantage of all the camaraderie that exists within our community. Our event calendar is located in the right-hand sidebar and there are upcoming events for everyone - a healthy mix of social, as well as, educational programs through partnered organizations such as CORE. If you have any other events from military spouse organizations that would benefit our membership, please email the information to sosofsd@gmail.com and we'll be happy to post them on our blog calendar and/or Facebook page.
We had a great turnout of new and returning members at the SOS Welcome Social! We want to send out a great, big 'thank-you' to our hardworking SOS Board and VADM and Judy Copeman for hosting our party in their lovely home and backyard!
